Wrapping To A New Beat!
Greetings my name is Cherise Taylor and I love God, my family and friends. My purpose is to help people with the gift that I have been blessed with. I fulfill that purpose as much as I can with every day that I am graced on this side of heaven. Please allow me to let you know more about my life and career. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation. I currently work as a Staff Trainer at my local library. It is great and fulfilling work which helps me to cultivate my purpose a great deal!
At 39 years young, I feel that the best is yet to come in my life and yours too! I believe that God has great things in store for us. One of the primary things I believe God wants for us is to have fellowship with Him through His word and through prayer and fellowship with other believers. I also believe that God wants His children to be healthy, happy, wealthy and wise. None of that can come without putting God FIRST! I am a huge advocate for mental and emotional health but I am afraid that I haven’t been as passionate about my physical health. I have been blessed with a pretty wonderful metabolism but around my mid 30′s I started to develop a mid section! It just started to spread! The other thing that I acquired in my mid 30′s was debt! And lot’s of it! Any of you who have gone to school know what I am talking about….student loans! Booo! Hiss! Yuck! Though I have no regrets about obtaining any of my education, the debt is great. I have cultivated a love affair between Sallie Mae and my checkbook for over 10 years now and I’m quite uncomfortable about it. ;-D
I’ve always had a spirit of entrepreneurship in my soul! I have sold everything under the sun! You name it, I probably sold it or went to a meeting about selling it or thought about selling it. Everything from Avon, to Pre-Paid Legal, to Primerica, to Trek Alliance, to Quixstar/Amway, to Tupperware and the list goes on and on and on! But this year, one of my dear friends started to post about a company that she was partnering with called It Works! In September of 2013, I wrote to her and asked more about it. I wanted to know if It Works! really worked. She had told me a little bit about it over the summer but I didn’t give it much thought.
Well, after attending a team meeting in October of 2013, and learning more about the company, the products, the compensation plan and the people, I decided to sign up. I purposely signed up on Halloween of 2013 to have something new and happy to celebrate on October 31st of each year. There is something about this business and this company that I really like. I’m very excited to join and be a part and I want to share my journey with the company with you here on this platform.
Tomorrow I will share a little bit more about why I joined. Until then, be healthy, wealthy, and wise!
In His Love,
